Sly Murdering Dreams

This is a troubling prospect. If your dreams are truly plotting your demise. I’d suggest limiting their availability to yourself. At least for the time being. Until you can further discover the validity of this possibility.
I’d suggest limiting your sleep to nothing. But you will have to rest. — This may seem odd, let me explain.
You will be unable to last very long in a sleepless environment. I believe the longest anybody has gone without sleep was 11 days. I don’t know the requirements needed to sustain such a rigorous activity. But I’m pretty sure you would start hallucinating at around day four.
I do not know how long you will need to maintain this practice (not sleeping). Perhaps if you could provide us with details pertaining to the methods already attempted by your dreams to kill you. Or am I assuming too much?
Is it just the idea that you are afraid of? Has there been any activity at all by your dreams to kill you?
Sometimes in life one must test him or herself against him or herself. Perhaps this is the crossroad you now face. In order to test this, you will need to provide yourself with the proper tools to dispatch yourself should you fail this test (don’t worry, we all fail sometimes).
Those tools being a knife (any 6-8″ steak knife will do). A loaded pistol, must be of larger caliber than .22, but it is not required that the gun be cocked and ready to fire (ironic given the recent Gun Control article). You can even keep the safety on. Though, if you choose to keep the safety on, your dreams will probably taunt you.
Having these tools readily available will provide the opportunity to fully test yourself against life. You wouldn’t want to feel like you’d cheated yourself, now would you?
Be sure to let us know how this goes. If you don’t post in the comments within three months, we’ll know you failed your test. This would be most unfortunate.
…Make sure your ready.
